Veteran-Led · North Country NY · FAA Part 107

By the pack,
for the mission.

Aerial, thermal, and editorial work shot with the discipline of an infantry squad leader and the eye of a photographer. Real estate, infrastructure, events — documented the way it actually happened.

Who we are

A media company built like a fire team.

Apex Pack Media didn't start in a boardroom. It started on a couch in Malone, July 2024 — two weeks after I walked out of my last day at Superior Glass. I was doom-scrolling shaky Facebook drone videos for real estate and I said out loud, "I could do that better with my eyes closed." My wife didn't even look up from her phone. She just said, "Then why don't you?" That was the exact second. Part 107 followed. The first listing followed. Every shoot since has been run the same way I ran a rifle squad — brief, execute, debrief. No drama.

01 / Veteran-Led

Terrain analysis under pressure.

Sergeant, USMC Infantry Squad Leader — RCT-7, two combat tours in Afghanistan, Designated Marksman school. What the Corps actually drilled in was reading ground, wind, light, threats, and people — all at once, fast, clean. That's how every shoot runs now. I walk the property first. Clock the sun angle. Feel the wind. Read the client's stress level. Then I fly with zero wasted movement. No panic when the battery drops and the client changes their mind. Just execute.

02 / Tactical Capability

Aerial, thermal, and 3D — under one pack.

FAA Part 107, Blue UAS-track platforms in progress. Mini 5 Pro in the air today, Matrice 4TD thermal on deck. 3D tours via Matterport. Ag maps in Pix4Dfields. One crew, the whole stack.

03 / North Country Native

Adirondack Park. Malone to Plattsburgh. Fort Drum to Lake Placid.

We live here. We know the weather windows, the airspace, the county roads, and the light. Local response, regional coverage.

Work that does the selling.

A snapshot of what goes up on the client cut. Listings, aerials, interiors — editorial-grade, on a realtor's timeline.

Real Estate · Listing Exterior

Listings that look the way they feel when you pull up the driveway.

Sony A7 IV, ultra-wide HDR bracketed in golden hour. We don't shoot listings flat — we shoot them the way the buyer wants to remember walking in. Warm light. True wood tones. Real depth. The kind of exterior that closes showings before the open house.

Hot tub on the deck, mountains in the frame, sale in the bag.

STR listings live or die on the lifestyle frame. We shoot the back-deck-with-a-view shot like it's a magazine cover, because that's the photo that makes a Friday-night booker say "this one." Same property, same light, dialed-in composition.

Real Estate · Acreage & Setting

Sell the acreage before they tour the kitchen.

Buyers don't fall in love with square footage. They fall in love with the view from the back forty. We frame the land the way it actually feels to stand on it — wide, layered, with the light doing the heavy lifting. The frame that adds zeros to the offer.

When the cause is right, we show up.

Bangor Dog Shelter ran an adoption + fundraising day at Tractor Supply North Bangor — dogs, donkeys, ponies, families, real momentum. We covered it editorial-style on the A7 IV. Not flat snapshots — actual frames the shelter can use to fundraise, recruit volunteers, and pull in adopters all year. That's pack work.

Spin it. Walk it. Measure it.

Real Polycam orbit from a recent mission over the Adirondack foothills — captured by drone, processed into a navigable 3D model. Same workflow we deliver for STR listings, construction documentation, insurance claims, and historic site preservation. Walkable. Measurable. Shareable.

The origin

Named after the pack that raised us.

When I say "pack" out loud, it means family that moves as one. Yeah, it's the dogs — Tucker, Zoey, Shadow, Sadie, and the puppy Echo who wasn't supposed to stay. But it's bigger than that. It's the same bond I had with my squad in the Corps. Loyalty. Protection. Hunt together. Nobody gets left behind.

It's also my wife Megan — Air Force vet, RN — and our kids Lliam and Paitynn. The crew that shows up when the job is hard and the weather is worse.

That's why by the pack, for the mission isn't a slogan. It's the standard. When you hire us, you're hiring a unit that shows up, locks in, and delivers footage that makes you look good to your clients. You don't have to babysit the shoot. You don't have to chase deliverables. That's the deal.
